How Tech is Harming Your Eyes
It seems like technology keeps becoming more and more common, and the use of it is making us dependent of it. We want to make sure our eyes are in good health when using technology. It is no surprise that most of us have a phone or computer, and we tend to use it almost all day every day. It is the way we communicate with others via email, text messaging, phone calls, social media, video chatting, etc.
It is sometimes even used as an alarm to wake us up in the morning or as a calculator to help us do our math. The human brain is becoming lazier because we are no longer using it as much, but that is not the only organ being affected by this technology uprising.
The organ that we seem to be hurting the most is our eyes! dry eye syndrome has become more increasingly common and it has put some sort of strain on our eyes. With dry eye syndrome, the eyes become red and irritated.
Dry eyes makes daily activites a lot harder. It is much more difficult to read or even keep your eyes opened throughout the day. There are some eye drops that lubricate the eyes, but using too much of them can harm the eyes as well. It is important to have regular eye check ups, and make sure that technology does not consume your entire day. There should always be a balance between technology and our everyday life, and we should always make sure our health is our number one priority.
